this is it. leaving for brisbane early in the morning. pt.1 ('the journey') of the saga will commence shortly." please fasten your seatbelts and open your mind", an adventurous voice tells me through those small black slits in the ceiling. or is it my head. no matter now, too late to turn back anyway. did i forget anything? of course i did. a list will be published as soon as i find out what it is.
the adrenaline torpedo bays are being flooded are now calmly sitting there, ready to be launched. i feel strangely serene as i always do before my life is about to be turned upside down. i still don't realise what i'm about to throw myself into and it won't dawn on me till i drop down in taipei (2nd destination), wondering what the fuck i'm supposed to do now. find a street stall that sells a a good laksa, of course. and from there it will all look up. anyone know a good laksa spot in taipei??
