Rejoice! the unbelievable has happened .... *drumroll*....: I got the net!!!
yes, it's true. finally. and it's blazingly fast and reliable, which is great. so now you might get updates on a slightly ore frequent level. and even emails, god forbid!
a few things have happened in the last couple of weeks. i bought a cheap acoustic guitar (again) with the misterious name sepia crue and annoy my neighbours every day now, hehe...and i got an offer to extend my contract in toyota only, which would mean no more kids classes, hooray!! as cute as the little buggers are, there's so much hassle involved with teaching them. i usually come out bathed in seat cos i have to do a lot in order to keep their attention: jump around, sing songs, dance, yell and play games, lift them up and make them fly through the room and stop them from hitting each other constantly..in short: a pain in the arse. so the adults-only school is a tempting offer, which i might just take up on. so studies will have to be postponed and experience shall be accumulated. in vast amounts. yay!
winter crashlanded in this place and now i'm all rugged up, with a beanie, scarf, gloves. and 3-4 layers of clothing..and it's not even really winter yet!! gawd...
halloween went by and we all had to dress up for the week. matt being an aloha hip hop clown and me in judo dogi (dress) that a student gave to as a present! now i've gotta do some kind of martial art, either aikido or judo..we'll see, eh? i fianlly got hold of a japanese book too, so i can study that odd language a bit more in-depth and strutured. i hope. plan.. and i had the japanese version of fondue chinoise, it's great!! called shabu shabu by some, nabe by others it's basically either thin slices or nice chunks of your meat of choice with a huge plate of assorted vegies and mushrooms, which are dumped in a pot of heated stock and are left to bubble away and dipped in various sauces and condiments...YUUUUMMMYYYY!! more soon. and i mean it this time. it might turn into a real blog eventually not just a news station that gets visited once a month. fingers and toes crossed.
