i'm back!!
sorry everyone...i don't really have a good excuse for letting you dangle like this for so long. I finsished my semester a month ago and have just been working, celebrating and eating since. Eating so much food that I'm now the fattest I've ever been in my life. This also has to do with not having smoked a puff for almost a year. I'll be accepting symbolical nicotine-patches on postcards from January 3rd.

So what is new you wonder? Well, apart from what I've told you just then, not much, really. I've been fairly busy at work, visting wr about 2x/week in her new home in gifu (1.5 hours by train..); reading 'holy blood, holy grail', the fantabulous pop-history book that first postulated that jesus had a son and a bloodline that still exists today, aong other highly interesting facts and goodies. strongly recomended. they're also the guys that sued dan brown and lost.

I also did a short stint at true combat, a completely free online FPS game that will really tickle your trigger/mouse finger, nerve ends and gpu, even the mac users among you! beware. as, shortly after installation, i was sucked into the world of (counter-)terrorism and throwing flashbangs, shooting SIG rifles (ironically, the same ones the swiss army uses;) and dodging bullets. great fun but oh so addictive. 10 days later i maturely deleted it off my harddrive.

but the most exciting part is that i'm leaving for thailand on saturday. wr and i will be hopping around the islands of east thailand (koh chang, koh mak, koh wai and koh rang) near trat. i'm hoping to stay here but this or even this will do just fine. i'm getting very excited! more soon!! in the meantime, please read this funy article by a sunday writer about koh chang.
