hello world,
i just got a new internet connection..a 100Mb/s fibreoptic thingy, which absurdly fast. I can download from Japanese servers at 4.5 MB/s (about 36 Mb/s, 4000 KB/s or 40'000 Kb/s if i did my math right, which i probably didn't)...filesharing runs at up to 600 KB/s on DL and 2.5 MB/s on upload..and that's with about 6 files being shared and 2 downloaded at the same time... unfortunately, it didn't come with a wireless router, so now my poor co-worker downstairs is internetless...sooorry paulie!! i'll give'em a call tomorrow..
Enough geekery!
My semester has started and i'm now already in week 3! this think is moving very fast, and I'm supposed to read about 120 pages per week after work..something that is as had as it sounds, especially with this new datafreeway. wish me luck!
