back at school..
and already behind schedule :(
it's a hard life. but at least i got a week off work. we (our friend tim and his gf yukari, my boss andy and his wife mika and son takiro, wr and i went camping at idyllic Ena valley, in the mountains of gifu. i managed to score a nice large tent from one of my students and we still had our inflatable luxury mattress from last year. combined they made for camping luxury! aah..
again, there's some pix up at flickr, including fireworks in toyota , a day at the beach and a sushi party, plus miscellaneous train and food shots.
the rest of the all too short break was spent lounging around in the heat. we've been having a crazy heatwave recently. the thermometer hit 38 yesterday!!
looking for jobs and trying to finalize an itinerary. right now the route of choice would be:
nagoya -> manila -> kuala lumpur -> sydney -> cawongla -> sydney again -> bali -> jakarta -> tokyo...all for about US$2000. not bad huh? any complaints/suggestions? europe sucks in the winter so i'll save that till later.
