nothing much new in the far east.
except of course that reto the great is soming to visit! he'll be here in less than a week! holy crap! yokoso, reto-san!
wr has less than a month left here. she's heading back home shortly, only to come back for me so we can go traveling. aaaaawww.... :)
i went to a wedding on the weekend. my first japanese wedding and it was plenty of fun! i can't believe how much they make you drink at those things! at one point, i had a glass of white wine, red wine, champagne and beer in front of me!! everyone was buzzed within no time whatsoever, but the whole thing was pretty short-lived. reception, ceremony, flower shower, lunch and party were all over and done with in 4 hours, all in japanese efficiency and understated splendour. the food was excellent, a few dishes can be seen on flickr.
in the evening we had a pajama party and played cards, might be able to get some pictures later off wr. int he meantime, hang in there :)
