well, i'm soon to be a straw widower! wr is leaving for the us of a tomorrow :(
tonite is the farewell party in nagoya...we're going to a nice little izakaya and about 23 people are supposed to say their last goodbyes (for now). i will be a reclusive student, since the study year is coming to an end and everything is due in the next 3 weeks.
what comes next is undecided but a large teaching school called NOVA has thrown a humongous spanner in our works by going belly-up. 4,000 english teachers are suddenly jobless...at the worst of times. we don't really know what to do yet. the original plan was to just go back to oz where I would try to find a job as a teacher. with about 500 aussie teachers now heading back home, this will be really tough. hmmm..
